The three modes operate on different units. Comparing them before copying prevents a word-order exercise from accidentally turning into unreadable character-level text.

Unicode and bidirectional text
Grapheme-aware reversal protects common emoji and accents, but it cannot override the Unicode bidirectional algorithm. Arabic, Hebrew, mixed RTL/LTR text, and code may look different depending on the destination, so review the pasted result there.

- Keep the original nearby so you can compare spelling, punctuation, and line boundaries.
- Paste into a plain-text field first when the destination adds automatic formatting.
- Do not use reversed text to hide unsafe links, impersonate another user, or bypass moderation.
Can the operation be undone?
Applying character reversal twice returns the original grapheme order. Line reversal is also reversible. Word mode can move whitespace blocks with the words, so unusual indentation or mixed line breaks should be compared with the saved original instead of assuming a byte-for-byte round trip.
