Choose the canvas before styling the text

The preset controls the image proportions and the amount of room available around the text. Pick the destination first, then tune the font size and line length so the exported PNG does not rely on cropping.

A reliable export workflow

  1. 1Select the final canvas preset before adjusting type size.
  2. 2Choose a font category, then compare the live Aa previews for legibility.
  3. 3Use strong text-to-background contrast and leave breathing room near every edge.
  4. 4Download the PNG, open it at full size, and verify that thin strokes and accents remain clear.

What the downloaded file contains

The browser draws the selected text, colors, and font onto a raster canvas and exports that canvas as PNG. The file has fixed pixels and no editable text layer, so make wording changes in the generator and export again. Rendering happens in the browser; the selected Google Font may still be fetched from Google's font service. Keep the final wording, font name, colors, size, and preset in your project notes so the image can be recreated consistently later.

Common preview problems

Text touches an edge

Reduce the font size or shorten the line. The generator centers the text, so manual padding is created by leaving more unused canvas space.

Thin letters look weak

Choose a heavier font or increase contrast. A pale, fine script can lose detail when a social platform creates a smaller preview.

The font changes during loading

Wait for the selected Google Font to finish loading before downloading. Export again if the first preview briefly showed a fallback font.

Image export questions

Is the selected font embedded in the PNG?

The font is rasterized into pixels during export. Someone opening the PNG does not need that font installed, but they also cannot select or edit the text as text.

Why should I inspect the full-size download?

The on-page preview is scaled to fit the interface. Opening the downloaded file at 100% reveals the actual edge sharpness, spacing, accents, and contrast.

Does changing the filename change image quality?

No. The filename only changes how the PNG is saved. Canvas size, font size, colors, and the rendered font determine the visible result.
