Which Gothic style should you use?

Regular Fraktur

The thinner blackletter shapes leave more space around each letter. Try this first for a short display name or a one-line heading.

Bold Fraktur

Heavier strokes give the same blackletter idea more emphasis. Compare it at the size your audience will actually see before using it in a bio or caption.

Copy and paste, not a font download

These results replace Latin letters with Unicode Fraktur characters; they do not install a typeface or create an image. Spaces, numbers, punctuation, and letters without a matching Fraktur character remain as entered. Accented letters may therefore look different from the surrounding text.

  1. Enter the exact name or phrase you plan to use.
  2. Copy the regular or bold result with its copy button.
  3. Paste into the destination app and check legibility, character limits, and whether it accepts the characters.

Gothic text questions

Will it look the same in every app?

No. Rendering and character support vary by app and device. Paste a sample in the actual destination before you commit to a name.

Is this an Old English typeface?

No. Gothic and Old English are often used as search terms for blackletter looks, but this tool produces Unicode Fraktur text, not a downloadable typeface or a custom logo.
