2025 name reservation event
The October 16, 2025 announcement allowed 1-12 Korean, English, or numeric characters. Names were unique within a server, but could repeat on different servers. This is historical event evidence, not a verified rule for every current service.

Official name management policyName ideas, not approval
The 4-12 English-letter range is this page's own preset, not a guarantee of compatibility. Names contain no spaces, surnames, titles, or decorative Unicode. Basic word checks cannot reproduce the game's full moderation rules. Confirm acceptance in your region's game client.
Class inspiration is not a statement of regional class availability. For example, NC introduced Brawler in its July 6, 2026 update; versions and localized class names can differ. Faction sound preferences on this page are creative choices, not official lore.
Before choosing a character name
What if my preferred name is taken?
A different ending can preserve the sound you like without a string of random digits. Keep a few alternatives ready. A similar spelling is still a separate name and needs its own in-game check.
Are these names available on my server?
Availability is not checked. No connection to the game's registration system is made. A missing character-search result would not prove a name is free: it could be reserved or restricted.
Can I use fancy letters or invisible characters?
Their acceptance has not been verified for current Aion 2 services. Plain, readable letters avoid relying on special-character support. Do not use lookalike characters to impersonate another player or bypass name restrictions.
Does an Asmodian need a dark-sounding name?
No official rule cited here requires a particular sound for either faction. A light, serious, or forceful name is a personal choice, regardless of your character's faction or class.
